Everyone looks forward to summer in my house, but nobody in my family did more than me. It's the summer of 1993, the weather is hot, and I'm excited because my mom said, "Hey y'all we're going to visit Auntie Christy." With all the excitement in the air, we quickly pack our clothes & load them in the trunk of her tiny, navy blue Ford Escort along with a cooler full of ham and cheese sandwiches. We make sure we have all of our snacks and we head straight to I-95 Northbound.
You see, road trips have always been my favorite. I remember riding and singing along to all of the 90s tunes, TLC, Mary J, and most definitely Nate Dog. Five and a half ours later, we are tired and achy but thrilled that we arrived to the beautiful city of Atlanta. As we bent the corner, guess who was standing outside on the sidewalk wearing the prettiest smile?

Auntie Christy and my little cousin Pastavia! Standing next to them is someone else waving and laughing loudly, it's my Uncle Cory! I quickly think to myself,"it's about to be one fun summer. "

These are priceless family memories that I will continue to cherish for my lifetime.

Yes I Always wanted my children to know & be in their Auntie's & Uncles life. Nothing like family love.
Thanks so much!
